Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great card, great price, but.

This is a solid card at a great price, though. this is probably not very promising. However, this is a lot. What do all those numbers and letters mean? Well, here's the short version. The first thing you might notice about this card is that it has an "A1" stamp on it. "A” stands for application performance class. It's there to tell you if the card works well with the application you're going to use it with. There are three types of cards. You will have NOTHING, A1 or A2. Cards that have neither A1 nor A2 are older. The new A1 and A2 attempt to address the new trend of using memory cards to expand the storage of devices running applications. Devices such as smartphones and mobile game consoles. Applications interact with memory cards in different ways. Instead of a stream of data, as in video recording, applications record many small chunks of data wherever there is free space. It's random read/write (as opposed to sequential read/write, which is important for video). It's an A1 card, meaning it's not the highest rating available at the time of writing, but it's still very good for most situations you might encounter. who you are dealing with. Next you will see that it has "V10". The starting point is V10, which is 10 MB/s. means, and V30 with 30 MB/sec. is much better and frankly top notch for most uses at the moment. There are V60 and V90 cards, but they cost a lot and in most cases are not needed. Many V90 cards are now around 2GB. Is it expensive! The V10 is still very handy for most situations you find yourself in. If you NEED a higher #, your product documentation will most likely say you need a higher baud rate, and if so, don't buy it and get one with a higher baud rate. If your product doesn't talk, it will probably work just fine. Size 128GB. Choose the right size. More more. I hope you understand the size before you come here, but if not, buy as big as you can afford. Most high definition videos eat up storage space like crazy. Another consideration is that you might buy a smaller size now and then buy a larger one as the performance goes up and the price goes down. It depends on you. There's also a U, or bucket, with a 1 in it - this is also a measure of sequential write speed and is mainly used to tell you how well it's doing with high-resolution video. It's basically the same as 10 or 30. It says on the box and I agree this card is great for capturing HD video on a drone, camcorder/security camera or most video recording devices. Again, make sure your product doesn't require 3 instead of 1 and you'll be fine. I recommend this Dynon Metrics Micro SD Memory Card - 128GB Memory Card - Micro SD High Speed Data Transfer - Durable Mini SD Card - High Performance MicroSDXC Card - Compatible with Camera, Drone, Phone, Computer. Unless you need a faster Tier 3/30 card, this is a steal and a good card that should be easy to use and reliable. IF you plan on using it now and hope to use it in something new later, then I'm going to aim higher and further ahead with a faster and bigger map. Thank you for reading my review.
