It's as simple as putting on shoes before wearing slippers. They are very light and quite comfortable for the money. Synthetic rubber outsole with minimal texture provides good traction on most surfaces in fair weather. The upper is made from traditional cotton canvas with a brushed exterior for a suede feel. The insoles are actually decent, with decent padding for this type of shoe, and there's a slight arch ridge, but there's no more complicated arch support than this, so use caution if that's important to you. The fit is what you can expect from shoe manufacturers. for different markets and different size agreements. I have a 41 on the sole so they are not a US size. That means you'll always be a little crazy. Mine seem too narrow and a bit big for the size 8 I ordered. So cheap deck shoes with minimal arch support and difficult to size.
