The hard drive in my laptop failed, luckily I backed up all my precious photos on my wife's laptop. We both have a Toshiba Satellite so I ordered a new hard drive (upgraded to 1TB sshd), cloned their laptop and then installed the new hard drive I have. It worked like a charm! I had to tweak a few settings to my liking and for the most part mine now works better than ever!
