I've been a fan of Lumix cameras for many years and in many versions. It has more bells and whistles but is easy to use, especially for taking photos on the fly. It's thicker than previous versions, perhaps to house all the storage and features. This makes it a little heavier, but still within reach of a handy camera in your pocket or purse. I like that it has a 20x zoom. This is a new feature. And the wrist strap allows me to hang over railings and windows for interesting photos without worrying about it falling off. Buying a second battery and charger together is a good investment because there's nothing worse than running out of battery when you're trying to take photos when you're not near an outlet. Keep a spare battery in your pocket and you'll be good to go!
