I use it as a toner for my very dry sensitive 60 year old skin and it's really refreshing... My skin is really clean and smooth afterwards without being too dry. I added a moisturizer afterwards and it spread more easily and absorbed into the improved surface faster! That little glass bottle is expensive, but there's not much on a flat cotton pad. Be careful if you are clumsy like me because it is glass and there are so many hard surfaces in the bathroom. I put a towel on the counter when I used it! I'm just not used to real glass bottles.
