Review on OCCI CHIARI Rectangular Reading Lightweight by Barbara Evans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice readers, look expensive

I wanted a few readers in different rooms to avoid walking around; I bought 4 pairs of OCCI reading glasses and they are all different, all beautiful. Some readers (even expensive ones) distort the plastic, but these OCCI plastics are crystal clear, almost as transparent as glass. They come with a protective plastic coating on the lenses. They fit perfectly with just enough snugness so they don't slip off your nose. I especially hate glasses with those huge "C" curves on the temples, so you really have to wear glasses that fit your ears at the temples. These stems are shaped with a slight downward curve rather than a C-curve, allowing you to quickly slip them on and off. I have a pair of $800 Theo readers from an optometrist and these OCCIs are much better. (Although one eye is 225 and the other 200, I bought a 200 magnification and they are fine). Nice packaging is that the lenses are covered with plastic, the whole frame is wrapped in anti-scratch paper and folded in a black bag. Most purchases come with a strap and all purchases include a cloth lens cleaning cloth, all in a black box.
