Review on 🏊 Glass Allowed Pool SmartSign: Durable Plastic Safety Signage for Pool Areas by Fritz Wiest

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would have preferred metal for durability, but this is a large sign and very legible

Plastic; I would have preferred it to be metal for durability, but it's a large marker and very easy to read. As soon as we bought a house with a pool, I took it to let people know not to take the glass outside. I put it in the most prominent place, and I would say that about half the people read it and followed it, and the other half either didn't read it or weren't interested; anyway it didn't work. While shopping for signs for our fence I came across http://www.amazon.com/Poolmaster-41332-Glassware-Residential-Pools/dp/B003C0WNE6/ref=pd_sim_328_5?ie=UTF8&dpID=51bS-zS3%2BoL&dpSrc=sims&preST= _AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=18JXYR1Y9S8XDT7CM19N and thought the redundancy might be useful so I took it. I ended up putting this one on the fence and hanging the other one where that one was and haven't had any problems since. It's hanging outside by two 5/8 inch hooks (nothing is holding the ground down) and after about 2 months of full exposure (over 6 hours of direct sun, heavy rain and high winds) it's slightly deformed but not affected in any way.

Pros
  • Signs
Cons
  • Very Expensive
