Cheap plastic, works great.
Really surprised how well they work. They're very light, made out of cheap plastic, but they look good and work great (so far). I had to fiddle with the battery contacts (didn't want to close) during installation and again when changing the battery for the first time. They fit our situation perfectly, don't want to ruin the headboard of the bed and don't want to leave the power cords visible. We had command lines.
