I have severe insomnia and panic attacks. This is why I listen to hypnosis and meditation recordings all night long on my tablet using the YouTube app. I have used many brands of headphones. There were insanely expensive (hundreds of dollars) and cheap devices. I've always bought devices that had the highest quality cables. I usually choose woven outer jackets. I had to change mine quite often. Always because the wires started breaking, and the sound on one channel was interrupted or even disappeared. I decided to try these. They were cheap enough that I wouldn't have lost a lot of money if they failed quickly. When I received them I had my doubts. They seemed too light and fragile. So I decided to wait a long time before submitting a review. Now that I've had them for a while, I'm writing my review. Are these the best sounding headphones I've tried? Absolutely not. Is the sound quality acceptable? Yes. Especially for what I use them for. are they comfortable Definitely yes! These are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. You can completely forget they are in your ears. There can't be any more comfortable headphones than these. No matter how you sleep, they are perfect. Are they reliable? Yes. i abuse it They are worn under my CPAP mask. The wires twitch all night and I toss and turn. I am absolutely amazed that they have held up so well. They appear to have no signs of wear as they are new. They look the same as when you bought them. They block noise about the same as a pair of earplugs. And I would highly recommend them to anyone with similar problems. You can't go wrong. I use an extension cord (bought from another vendor) to increase the distance from my bedside table (where my tablet sits all night) to my head. I will buy them again if and when they fail.
