Risky Spending on TV and Video
I took a risk because I still have VHS tapes and my last set has stopped working. This Magnavox had problems from day one. The VHS site had sound but no picture. The DVD side worked fine. The remote control stopped working after about 3 days. The buttons on the machine seemed to work, but that was more annoying and he didn't want to risk destroying the DVD or taking it hostage. At the moment I'm planning to buy a regular DVD player (new) and am concerned about the cost of buying the necessary hardware to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD myself. I took a risk I am lost. Sad story but true.
