These breeches are ideal for young riders. My daughter started riding at 3 and is still wearing her smaller pair and new large pair (almost 6 years old). They are comfortable for you and light for you. And for me they are easy to clean! 3 years later the older couple are still in great shape after riding once a week every week. We look forward to replenishment so that she gets some variety and I don't have to wash as often. Definitely recommend!
