They literally can't be placed correctly as the camera cutout is offset by 12mm. Also, DO NOT use the supplied cloth as it will shed the fibres. The cut out for optimal placement had me wasting the first protector as the protector sat on the right raised edge of the screen and I was forced to slide it back to adjust the position. Dust got under the tread when I folded it, so I threw away the first one. The second was slightly better as I had accounted for the offset, but managed to stick a few strands of the supplied fabric to it so I threw the second one away. The third managed to get the dust out of the air when I peeled off the protective backing and it went straight into the bin.
