I had one of these in the hospital after back surgery that caused my foot to sag. (He was know what it's worth). It worked great for five months and then finally tore at the inner thin spot next to the Achilles tendon. So I ordered a black one here (same make/model) which snapped in the exact same spot the 4th day I wore it. White seemed to be the best material. Be careful if you wear shoes with them - then they will most likely break. In general - quite comfortable. You get used to it fairly quickly after 2-3 days, but be aware that your sock will be tightened several times a day.
