I was concerned when I bought these boots. We met for a trip to the national park and my son told me his boots didn't fit anymore. I went to my local REI and they didn't have anything in stock. Revain saved the trip! They were delivered the next day. They were so comfortable my son (age 10) ran over 10 miles and made it to the top. In boots that didn't even need to be broken in. This is the second pair of Merrell boots. The quality is excellent. They are comfortable and easy to slide in and out when camping. They show no dirt. The middle peak supports him on the rocky desert trails. They were also half the price of my local hiking store.
