My Ocicat liked it immediately. I sprayed catnip on it to help, but it probably wasn't necessary. The window it hangs from is 22 inches wide and I love that the suction metal rod is wide to accommodate different size windows. As you can imagine this wouldn't have happened if the suction was only in the corners like some other perches. It matches my window. I like that it can be folded up so we can close the blinds. Be sure to hang the upper suction cups so that they can hook onto the upper seat when folded. When folded, the bottom still sticks out a little. I'm sure you could tweak something to secure it if that bothers you, but we're ok with that. I squeeze the suction cups every day when I see little air bubbles in the suction cups to keep them from falling off. It is very durable. In the last shot I put her new donut bed on the floor which is 20 inches tall so it dangles a bit. I don't think I'll leave it there because I'm afraid it might fall off if she gets it right. I also hung a hammock from below that I already had and she only used it a couple of times hoping she would want to climb in but she didn't. I'll leave it there for our new kitten to see if he likes it when he gets home.
