A. good chair so far.

The evaluation will consist of several parts. Received this chair earlier than expected via Prime which is good. The box is about the size of a mini fridge, so not too big. All parts are packed in a thin bubble wrap, which serves its purpose perfectly. Assembly was easy, some of the instructions were hard to read as they were black letters on a black background, but I'm sure anyone could figure it out. It is very comfortable. My old chair was comfortable when I got it and although I've had it for 6 years it's still comfortable (the vinyl is falling off and I can't fix the squeaking when moving). It takes a while to get used to how easy the recline is as it comes from a suspension recliner office chair (like most on the market). It's nice to have several preset points where you can fix the tilt of the chair. I have a white chair with a footrest. Some misconceptions I've seen. You cannot adjust the armrests forwards or backwards, up or down. They're set a certain way, and if you move the seat backwards, they move too. I thought this would be a much bigger problem but they are soft enough, long enough and just the right height for what I do. i will fall However, this is where some issues come into play. The backrest is attached to the underside of the chair with just two screws. The rear end tends to move from side to side as it is only supported by two points of contact. It's very noticeable! The armrests also move with the seatback, which doesn't help at all. The armrests are flimsy, I don't think they'll fall off or break, but you can definitely move them from side to side with ease. The seat to the wheels feels solid and I don't see any issues with that. The wheels also work great on carpet. The footrest is so-so. It's nice to have and I was afraid it wouldn't be long enough, but that's not a problem. However, it appears that he is being held by a fragile metal rod. It doesn't bend very well and makes me think it will fall apart very quickly if I'm not careful. In general this chair is comfortable but not of the best quality. I think it's like buying a Hyundai and expecting a Mercedes. Yes, there are some cool features and styles, but the quality isn't that great. If I don't use this chair for three years, I'll be shocked! All in all a comfortable chair with a cool design and at an affordable price. I can sit, work and play in it all day. I have a feeling it won't last very long and I'll have to babysit it to make it last. If you can get it on sale (about $100-$120) then it's a great deal.
