Review on 🩲 Marena Stage 2 Panty-Length Compression Girdle: High-Back Pull-On for Effective Recovery by Melissa Paige

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent post-op compression, comfort

I'm 5'3", weigh 120 lbs, hips 34", waist 24". I had a lower body lift and a tummy tuck after I had lost a lot of weight. The original compression garment that the doctor put on me after the operation was fully open on both sides with hooks and zippers so it was easy to put on and take off.But it was hot and my legs almost went up my knees so it was very bulky under the pants. After being allowed to reduce the compression intensity a bit, after two weeks I ordered different compression stockings in different styles.Forget Spanx as it was too hard and painful to go up and down every time when I needed to go to the bathroom It became pretty obvious that I needed something that I didn't have to take off my stomach just to get on the to go to the toilet. Many of these garments have no crotch, so you can just wear underwear over them. I finally went with this because the crotch opens easily and quickly and you can pull back and forth a bit to get out of the way. how do you use the toilet I wear underwear underneath and that's okay. There are multiple rows of hooks, so someone with a slightly longer torso (or slightly bigger butt!) than me can still fit in these. I prefer to remove the shoulder straps at night to sleep as they tend to dig into my chest when I'm on my side, but the compression is just enough to keep my clothes in place all night keep. It was a very hot summer and I wanted as little coverage as possible (from just below the bust to the hips) so that was the coolest option too. The doctor was pleased at my last checkup when she saw the quality of the clothes. This compression does not loosen with prolonged use.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
