A little disappointed best in piercing jewelry

I haven't tried them all but the one pair I wanted to wear the most was defective. When it's fully twisted, the two ends don't align, so they both point in the same direction and line up with each other. I have to leave it a little loose to make it look right. The design keeps it from spinning and falling off even when loose, but I don't want to wear loose jewelry that could fall out and then close the piercing.
