Just avoid it
Almost any finger will work, even if that finger isn't programmed. The instructions are so poorly written that it's worse than no instructions at all. The general build quality is terrible, and my writing was so small it was barely legible. Of course, because it's cheap, what do you expect, right? Just avoid it. This is not a security device.
