I just installed these lights and the installation is as easy as other lights. Plug it in, stick the stripe wherever you want and go racing. In my case I bought two Strips (two sets of cabinets) and found a way to connect a remote to multiple Strips in another article.1. Connect the receiver of the other set you want to pair to the power supply.2. Press the solar button on the remote that you want to pair with within 5 seconds of turning on the strip3. After a few seconds, the strip will light up, confirming that it's paired. So I installed and started my backlit kitchen on a remote control in about an hour. Sometimes one band will respond to a power on or off command and the other will not, but this is not very common and pressing the power button again will respond. I think that's the recommendation for the $25 16-inch strip. Choosing a color temperature is good as it's difficult to know exactly what temperature looks best until the room is lit. Considering the cheaper kits only have one temp I think this is a win.
