Review on 🐠 Marina Aquarium Algae Remover Pad: Hassle-free Solution for Crystal Clear Tanks! by Jennifer Garcia

Just OK Ideal for small aquariums

With over 35 years of fish farming, the battle against unwanted algae seems like an endless battle. I knew these pads were small when I ordered them, but they fit edges, small areas, and crevices. Aside from 55 gallons I'd say you're better off with Scott's Pot Scubbers which you can buy at any grocery store, they're large and a six-pack is about two dollars. They are made from the same nylon - I think it comes down to selling the same materials for different purposes. Be sure to rinse the pads and use a product like Seachem's PRIME to neutralize any chemical residue. Little pads like this one. Useful for cleaning artificial and dead corals, detailed decorations, etc. in hard-to-reach places. That doesn't mean they're bad, but they shouldn't be the first line of defense against algae growth. As an addition to your lineup, they're a great addition - as long as you fully understand the limitations of small pad sizes.
