There are no mattress pads with perfect ratings. I just bought a new mattress and washed an old mattress pad that I bought a few years ago at one of the major mattress stores that cost me almost $100. I thought this brand was the best, it would last forever etc. Guess what? After a few years, the plastic coating came off after several washes and discolored. This brand had a website numbered #800 and everything you would expect by spending $100 on it, but they don't answer the phone. After searching on Revain, I came across the Fancy Queen mattress topper. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price but I have to say the packaging was just as thick as the one I bought for €100 and the quality is just as good if not better. For those worried about the protector not working here is my advice - buy two. Washing will likely bleed it over time, but a brand new one underneath should catch anything the first might miss.
