I bought this because I am working on a project that involves cutting 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper into quarters and clipping each card. using edge scissors and was able to cut 2 sides at once but the cards came out a little crooked. I was hoping this cutter would keep them straight, but not like this. I make at least 120 sheets of paper at a time and was hoping to find something to cut at least 2 pieces of cardboard at a time. If I stood up and put all my weight on it, it worked sometimes, but the cutter slips a lot. Btw buy a cutting mat if you don't have one already, helps a lot with slipping, however even with the mat I still had to cut off all my weight and the little piece of plastic at the end that you pull off to change the edge, flies off when They go too far and hit them while cutting. I went back to my edging shears and was able to get the job done much quicker. This tool was very inexpensive and might have been my first clue, but I had no clue. I can try to return it but not sure if they will believe me as most of the time the packaging is thrown away. I probably won't use it often and I definitely don't recommend it to anyone.
