It's good when it works.

Must update and add to my previous review. I ended up going through 2 of these suspensions in about 9 months. The first failed. It stopped working properly, turned itself off after about 5-10 seconds and the batteries stopped charging as well. I sent it back and got a new one. After a while it went into sleep mode intermittently and tried to record something, ruining some of the footage. I got the following module from ifocus focus for my problems, but that doesn't work anymore either. It turns on but is not recognized by the gimbal or the app after a firmware update. Then I stopped recharging the gimbal batteries. (tested with a voltmeter) I originally chose this stabilizer because of the removable batteries, figured I could buy extra and always have a fresh one ready to go. However, the batteries that come with this stabilizer are slightly longer than a standard 18650 size battery, so you can only use MOZA batteries, but MOZA batteries fail after a few months. The performance of this stabilizer is great on paper and it does a really good job when it's working properly, but it doesn't always work. I think for $600 the quality control will be at a higher level. Software support for this gimbal is really lacking, the phone app isn't great and doesn't do any of the cool time lag/motion tracking stuff that DJI can.

  • Electronics
Cons
  • Very expensive
