In my opinion it would be cute for children 4-8 years old. I like the unicorn on the second hand that ticks on the clock. That's great. My kids are at the age where they are starting to tell time. This watch is really cute. It's waterproof, although I always recommend taking it off for swimming and showering. Material - silicone. Washes off very easily. The ribbon is three-dimensional, so unicorns, rainbows, stars are raised, but don't bother at all. The watch is easy to put on and take off. Although I had to help my four year old and I guess that was to be expected. A seven-year-old child will have no problems. It's really nice to give to a younger child learning to tell the time. Adults wear watches less than they rely on their phones, but I think it's important for your kids to know the importance of watches and time.
