If you hold your phone a lot while charging, don't buy this cable. And here's why: I bought these 3 pcs. Strings a year and a half ago (May 2019). One of the cables lives in my car to charge my phone and connect to CarPlay in my car. Anytime between 6 months and 1 year (NOT daily use) the end that goes into the phone no longer fits snugly/securely. It started dangling and also falling completely out of the phone's charging port, seemingly from the wind. In other words, when it's barely touched or not touched at all. While my phone charges in the car, it sits in a silicone tray on the dashboard, keeping the phone in place and not straining the cord (other than gravity). I noticed that the cable didn't fit properly, so the phone wouldn't charge and disconnected from CarPlay. This defeats the whole purpose of the cord if it's constantly weakened. Trying to reconnect the cable to my iPhone is a distraction. Another cable from these 3 pcs lives at my house and I use it to charge my phone at home at night. In these conditions, while charging, the phone and cable do not move at all (there are no bumps in the road) - it works fine and the cable stays connected. continuous. It also has a good loading speed. Conclusion: If you move your phone frequently while charging, I do not recommend this product due to the poor connectivity. I tested the tightness of another iPhone charging cable I have and the other cable has a better connection. I tried gently tugging on the two brands of cable to see which one required more force to disconnect from my iPhone once connected. This product was easier to remove. I recommend either Apple branded cables or another brand I have is Cablex (unfortunately I don't have a braided Cablex).
