Review on πŸŽ₯ MOZA Aircross 2 Professional Kit Gimbal Stabilizer: iFocus-M, 7.1 lbs Payload, Auto-Tuning Control Panel, 12H Battery by Jill Parrott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of great features so there is a learning curve.

I've had it for a few weeks now and have had many opportunities to play around with this gimbal. I've used a lot of stabilizers and it's pretty standard until you add a few extra bells and whistles. One of the best is being able to control the gimbal with my phone while my colleague is trying to steady himself. The movements aren't too jerky and mesh well when someone else is holding the gimbal. One thing I noticed is that the Moza Aircross 2 took quite a while to calibrate. The first few times I used it, the motor vibrated quite badly. . I assumed it was because I hadn't stabilized it properly before because it hadn't happened in a while. The battery also feels a little drained, but that didn't affect the battery life in any way, which is significant! It lasted 6-8 hours with continuous use. I look forward to continuing to use it for my upcoming gigs. This is a great addition to my Panasonic S5. Which, I will say, requires a few wire connections for the gimbal and camera to work well, but it always works in the end.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Very expensive
