Well there is something to say about this set of flashlights. First, the deal for the whole set is really good. For around $300 per lamp plus tax, you get the lamp, stand, diffuser and bezels, tripod, and power supply/cables. Individually this is a good bargain for the light as you get some extras. You also get a nice carry case for the whole set and a remote control as a bonus. The lamps are well made. They are durable and feel like they will last a long time. The controls are solid and the screen is easy to read. There are no complaints at all in the assembly category. The output is bright. I have about 500 LEDs and they are noticeably brighter. You lose half the light to an amber "warming" light that puts you in control of color. They don't put out as much light as white ones, so they're not as bright as the 896 all-white light, but you get color control. I would suggest buying a colorimeter if trying to match the color temperature of an existing indoor or outdoor light. The stands are good. These are lightweight portable stands that are still very durable. The board works fine. The screen is a bit difficult to read and the keys are spongy. Not my favorite remote but it works. You just have to be slow and patient. All in all, for <$1000 with taxes I'd say this is a well thought out lighting setup. I've used it for both video and still photography and macro photography. I recommend this set.
