Initially I was impressed with how solid and well made this monitor stand is. The assembly is very easy and most parts make a very stable impression. But it wasn't until I attached the monitors and made the final adjustment that I noticed that one of the monitor tilt adjustment screws had transverse threads in the plastic case, causing the case to crack. Why this particular part is plastic when all the other parts that support the monitors are made of nice, thick and durable metal, I don't understand. This means that the monitors cannot be prevented from tipping forward. As I already drilled a hole in my desk for this stand I plan on keeping it but tomorrow I'll have to go to the hardware store and find a spare screw and nut instead of using the 4 set screws from the kit. This is a weak point, the stand feels stable and solid. Aside from the disappointment that the stand didn't come out of the box, it seems like a pretty good monitor stand. Oh one more thing, not really the seller's fault but something useful to know if you're looking to buy this monitor stand, this suction cup is huge. Much more than I expected for some reason. It barely fits on my small 40 inch wide desk. I would say that the 48" x 24" table is probably the smallest to sit on comfortably.
