I bought this after reading a lot of good reviews but when I opened it it was just a thin stretchy polyester material which didn't protect my wrist well! It also had a very strong chemical smell that made me sick. But the bottom line is this is NOT a wrist brace that will prevent new injuries or cure existing wrist pain issues from carpal tunnel or inflamed wrists. What doctor came up with that? I want to ask this doctor a few questions. I have three family members who are doctors and they all agreed this is NOT a good wrist guard. It's also very short! The picture shown does not look like what I had in mind. I would not recommend this product. There was a little booklet of wrist strengthening exercises, but that booklet (perhaps written by a doctor) has nothing to do with the wrist guard itself. Anyone can find exercises online!
