I bought these because my XL shirts are too big for me and I needed to make them smaller. I usually buy hemp shirts for their comfort, but for $30 a shirt I was willing to take a chance and buy something else. I have owned Russell products in the past and remember buying gear when I was in school. You can take them with you in the summer and at the gym. Mine hold up well in the wash, the color hasn't faded or shrunk. They're so cheap that if you're on the fence, just go for it. Originally I wanted to buy Under Armor t-shirts. At Russell I was able to buy 3 for the price of one UA T-shirt. I love the logo on the bottom and some have the logo on the sleeve. All 3 of my Russell shirts are different but all 3 hold up well and look good. I would say this is a medium weight shirt. I've had thin ones too.
