I recently had the opportunity to try the Tree of Life Ring for Ashes Memorial Cremation Round Family Tree Ring. While I appreciated the sentiment behind the product and the ability to keep a small amount of ashes away from a loved one, there were a few aspects of the ring that I missed. First, the size of the ash tray was quite small, making it difficult to fit anything other than a very small amount. This was disappointing as I was hoping to use the ring to hold more of my loved one's ashes. Also, I felt the quality of the actual ring was a bit lacking. The metal turned out to be quite light and the finishing wasn't as accurate as I had hoped. While I understand that this product is intended as a sentimental keepsake rather than a high quality piece of jewelry, I still expected a higher level of craftsmanship. At the same time, the design of the ring is very beautiful and the motif of the tree of life is a wonderful symbol of family and growth. I also appreciate the inclusion of space for a small photo of my loved one. Overall I would give this product 3 stars. While there are certainly aspects of the ring that could be improved, it provides a good way to hold a small amount of ashes and commemorate a loved one who has passed away.
