My first sharpening stone works very well

I'm a fisherman, surfer, outdoor enthusiast and also a gentleman. When I wear pants, I carry a pocket knife for whatever life brings. I also have a set of handle knives that I plan to sharpen next time as it cost me $80 last time, LAME. I used some of those crappy hand sharpeners, they suck. The blade holder is ok, but once you get the feel of the process it gets a little annoying. It's nice to have a whetstone that also keeps the stone flat. You end up making indentations, so that's a nice addition. My first attempt was with two of my prized Benchmade edc knives, the blades are worn and very dull and I have to say this type of sharpener works fantastic. My two blades are back to shave the hair off your arms. I used the [back and forth] action from the YouTube videos, not their tiny, unreadable instructions. It's dirty, use lots of water, but you can't compare the sharpness of a stone to a sharpener that only cleans the edge of the blade. Take one, I guess "brand" doesn't matter, like most of course. by Chiner :-)
