A year ago I started training for my first half marathon and needed some kind of knee brace. I have PT Syndrome and Chondromalasia (a fancy way of saying the cartilage under my kneecaps is rough instead of smooth) and regular PT strips haven't helped; My knees still hurt after running. I have tried 5 or 6 different brands of knee pads but none fit. You're damn near perfect for me. The adjustable brace keeps everything warm (for some reason it really helps my knees!) I'm on my second set after using them 5-6 times a week for a year. I gave them 4 stars because they tend to slip off your hips as you bend and bend your legs. I've found that they slip a lot less if I wet the top (the thigh part) before a workout. Once I get into a good sweat they stay pretty much in place. I wish they could add some sort of silicone grips to the top edge to hold them in place but understand that due to their stretchiness this may not work. For me this is a great solution.
