This headband on the bed looks beautiful in the photo, but in reality it's a real pain in the neck. The majority looks like viscose or Egyptian cotton, which washes well but doesn't hold up at all. Apparently, one of us has already stepped on the ruffle and formed a tear, that is, an irreparable tear that actually tore off the fabric itself. As for the ruffle itself, I put it in the dryer first to remove the (expected) creases during packaging and shipping. If it helped, then not much. So I washed and dried. Terrible result! It's 100% cotton so I had to go all over the bed and pull out every inch of the ruffle and it still looks very rumpled. It needed ironing, but I definitely didn't want to iron the 5 layers of ruffles on my little ironing board. Just flip it over and do it again if it needs to be cleaned up in the future. If I had known what I know now, I would never have bought it. It was a big waste of money.
