As a 38 year old gamer, I've smashed, smashed, trampled, chewed and blown up every console game controller since the Atari 2600. I can tell you that $1 a button is a steal. absolutely unmatched. I replaced 3 R2 knobs with them the same day I received them and the difference between the original and the replacement is so negligible that only those looking for something to complain would leave a rating other than 5 stars leave behind. I have 3 reservations. it.1. There are VERY small differences in the mounting post dimensions, but unlike previous reviews they are not 2-3mm and none of these knobs have "fallen out" after heavy use. My rigorous field testing includes the destructive power of my 5 and 7 year old sons, so I can assure you that for a dollar each it's almost "easy".2. These buttons are made in China and it is plausible that some of the buttons in your 10 piece set failed 'quality control' due to poor quality control, resulting in serious defects. or defects.3. I used pre-existing springs from old buttons, not the ones that came with the kit. Don't believe the (negative) hype, you won't find a better deal at Revain or anywhere else.
