First impression is that I obviously don't understand the metric system. 15 ml is approximately half a US ounce. So if you order a small I would consider it a test/travel size. And the sample size here can be good because of the strong smell. It might not be for everyone. After opening the jar I found it to be a harder blam but I scooped it out with my fingernail and after rubbing it in my hands for a few seconds it smoothed out and applied easily. my beard. The smell is as advertised. The scent is strong, but this combination of scents really made me feel like I was at the Bavarian Christmas market. There is a strong undertone of cinnamon, but it also blends with other species and flavors to create a very strong flavor that lingers. I'm not usually a fan of strong scents, but this one made me nostalgic. I found that helps a little. After application I felt like there was a little residue left on my beard but a few hours after application everything was fine. No beard crusts, no beard dandruff and no oil build-up on your face. So my initial fears were allayed. I think it works fine. I liked it. It could be closer to 4.5 stars but I rounded it up because it's the most accurate scent of any beard product I've used to date.
