I've had this cream for a few weeks now and love it. I didn't get it at a reduced price. It's winter in Texas and the cold weather always makes my dry skin itchy and irritated. I looked for a thicker night cream to calm him down. Acne is not a problem for me. I have read many of these reviews. It's confusing when you read reviews that say something like "The smell made me vomit" or that the product they received was green not yellow - I found that with the product I bought not correct - it says in the photo. I use a very small amount on my face and neck because that's all you need. Other reviewers found it bold. I can only assume that they use too much. Another reviewer said she needed to use 2-3 drops to evenly moisturize her face. So all you can do is jump in and try. 2 ounce jar - usually the moisturizers I buy weigh 1.7 ounces for about the same price or even more. I have used La Mer and my skin has never felt better than with this cream. It doesn't have much of an odor, at least not to me, and I can be overly sensitive to smells. I also use Bee Friendly honey mask and eye balm. My skin loves it so far. I also use olive oil on my body, it's the only thing that keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable. Some people may wrinkle their noses at the smell of olive oil, but it dissipates quickly and I use Nivea Creme over it. Knowing that this product contains olive oil, I use it sparingly as a night cream. Definitely planning to buy again. UPDATE: I bought another jar of this wonderful cream. No problem I love it.
