I bought these headphones to replace my first generation Marshall Major headphones because the cable was frayed in many places. Compared to these headphones, they're more comfortable but seriously inferior to the sound quality I'm used to. Bass and treble are there, but overall they sound flat and dull. It was a quarter the price of my old pair, and I certainly don't expect studio monitor quality from over-ear headphones, but I wouldn't buy another pair. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, replaceable cable. Cons: Poor sound quality
