I really wanted this to work, I got it and played with it for a few days before writing this review. For me I have a p320 x compact with light and a romeo 1 pro, this pistol fits but it fits very tight, the extra magazine barely fits. Due to the fit, it is impossible to use foam. So why spend extra money on something you really can't use? Do you really need a 4 inch cable? The 19" felt more realistic to me as it was harder to penetrate. With that in mind, with the guns inside, close the lid and latch only and no latches. There is a sizeable gap that a decent flathead screwdriver could easily fit in can penetrate and open with little effort.The internal depth still needs to be 1/4 foot deeper, right now it sticks out just enough that it's not a practical option.
