I have cut my hair for many years, always used wire cutters but ended up wanting to do without the cord. That's because they had a side blade button, which means you can add a little more to each trimmer to help with hair bleaching. I have to say for the price I am very impressed they are so much better than what I used because they are actually different owe where you can actually move the blade and I really liked the 2 speed setting, so I'm giving them a huge 5 plus stars. don't need them with that as far as I can tell they also fit the Wahl clipper protection so that was a huge plus.
