After a few weeks of use I think I prefer the insertion style of this razor. Initially I was concerned about getting extra nicks and cuts due to the open corners of the blade, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. And I think the open style allows me to get a better sense of where the edge of the blade is actually reducing the cuts and slashes I get at times. One gripe: the product description provided says it comes with shark blades. But they actually sent me a different brand of blade so they need to sync their blades with the product description provided.
