Review on 🚰 GE GSWF Refrigerator Water Filter - Filter Out Impurities with 1-Pack, Multi by Mike Pearson

This is the 3rd time I have changed the filter in 4* years of owning the fridge. The cost here is cheaper and the service was excellent. The GE filter actually lasts about a year depending on usage. As long as the flow is good, the filter will work. Simply remove the filter when the light first comes on, give it a quick shake and rinse in the sink, replace and reset the light. If the flow is still good, use it until the indicator lights up again. Haven't tried the generic ones but made good use of the branded ones at a much better price with free shipping from Revain. Update: The light came on in December almost up to the day I last switched it on. I tried removing the filter, shaking it and flushing the hole with tap water. I reinstalled the filter, reconfigured the light, and went about my business. It's March now and the light hasn't come on yet, the flow and taste are still good. Maybe the filter change indicator has a built in timer that lights up regardless of the filter status? I'm just talking I'll buy a new one here once I'm sure the old one really needs to be replaced.
