This is MUCH better than your standard low quality department store plastic folding table which seems to be all you can find these days. It's real wood and it's solid. No chipboard or plywood, this is a real solid wood table. The height is perfect and it looks so good, pretty enough to use as a small dining table pretty much anytime you want, or for extra guests if there isn't enough seating at the dining table. The only downside is that it was slightly wrinkled on one side when shipped. I didn't put much stock in that as it's more the shipper's fault. But it could have been a little more protected around the edges to prevent that from happening. The haulers here are a bunch of baboons anyway, and they love to destroy things. So I can't blame the manufacturer. VERY VERY nice table!
