As a new caravan owner, I would stay up at night thinking of three things. 1- all the wonderful times my family had. 2- the safety aspects of towing two tons of holiday fun behind my Honda Ridgeline pickup and 3- throwing poop chowder. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled with this part. I've watched YouTube videos, googled step-by-step instructions, bought rubber gloves, a heavy duty sewage hose (which made sense since the hose that came with it leaked the first time), this descender, a custom length garden hose, etc etc. And that was all before I took this thing on the road. I almost convinced myself I needed one of those expensive sewage pumps when I stumbled upon it, and the price and good reviews convinced me to give it a try. It's worth it. As disgusting as this job is, I'd rather see what comes out of it to KNOW the tank is clean. You can wash it as many times as you like until it runs clear. I did 4 for black water and 2 for gray water. My pools are clean and fresh. No smells, no worries. I even sing a song.
