Does NOT hold 5 kg of potatoes!
I had to read the description further to see the dimensions. I've seen it hold 5kg which is 11lbs. I thought this would be a great way to keep my bag of COSTCO sized potatoes fresh! I can barely fit a 5lb sack of potatoes in it so 10lbs sure won't fit. I know pounds aren't that big and maybe there are some really tight potatoes in the UK, but the typical bag of potatoes you get at the supermarket in the US will hardly fit. If you use a pair when you buy, leftovers will do. I gave 3 stars because it's cute and looks sturdy. I'll update when I find out how long it keeps my potatoes fresh.
