Smooth and most important? Accurate balance!

Okay, I'm not a fan of scales; I avoid them as much as possible and wait for the doctor's office to know my weight. I think it's more about the fit of your clothes than the numbers on the scale. What did you say? My dementia is in the middle stage. Mom suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder due to weighing - Dementia can exacerbate pre-existing feelings and now she's obsessed with weighing. She's doing this this morning and evening and her old scale just died (I think she literally wore them out ha!) And don't worry, my mom isn't anorexic or bulimic β€” she's just a bit obsessed with her weight β€” what is a bit sad. because the dementia makes her forget how much she ate, so she ate too much and gained weight - I'm working to limit her food as much as possible because I don't want her to actually gain weight. Nonetheless? This scale is very accurate and I love the way it looks - SO smooth. Well this is NOT a narrow dial - if you can see the pics - I put on my shoes to show you how much space is left on the dial - love this - who needs a narrow dial? However, it does not slip in hard-to-reach places. I currently have it in MY bathroom because it's not mom-friendly and that's fine because it helps her forget to weigh herself when it's not in her bathroom :-) The only downside IF it is is glass so I never lean to zoom (I did this with my mom's old one because it was heavy plastic). This one doesn't look like it will break easily, but it's glass so be careful with it. I love how easy it is to see the numbers on them too and they are a nice light blue colour. I am very satisfied with this scale and also with the price - 5 stars from me!
