They arrived very well packaged! I ordered four stools. The first matched well. However, be careful when attaching the legs. He does not teach you about the order. The holes on the sides that received the four most recently inserted expanders should match. Made this mistake for the first time. Each leg has what I call a "high opening" and a "low opening" for expanders. Make sure the bottom side matches the bottom side of the adjacent leg and the high side matches the high side. Otherwise the spacers will warp and you will have to remove the legs again. Also, do not tighten the legs immediately as you will need to loosen them to insert the spacers. After installing the spacers, fully tighten the legs and screw in the spacers. Felt inserts for the legs. A chair had a defective leg: the thread was so deep in the leg that the leg could not be screwed on. I emailed them then called them and they were very helpful and will send a replacement leg. Also be patient when screwing in the legs. Sometimes the screws don't seem to align properly, but eventually they tighten themselves. Generally very strong. Comfortable soft seat. Very attractive. hope they hold up. Attached is a photo of the broken leg.
