Review on Sennheiser HD 206 Closed-Back Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Micha Pirecki ᠌

Average product, you can do better.

Any person who believes that there is no distinction between the 201 and 206 levels is mistaken. When I compared the sound coming from the same source using both versions while holding them in my hands, I was dissatisfied. I hope that warming up, which is something I honestly believe has a 50/50 chance of helping. I am aware that the headphones cost something in the neighborhood of 1,300 dollars; nonetheless, it is unfortunate that the drivers have been updated because they sounded significantly better in the past. Once more, I'll wait to write my review until after it has had some time to warm up. These headphones made it quite evident to me that I should not be pleased with the sound of inexpensive Sennheisers and should instead purchase more costly ones. It's unfortunate that my old HD 201 had a hair get caught between the stiff mesh and the driver membrane, but I used a vacuum cleaner to get it out anyhow xD.

Pros
  • The price, the weight, the convenience, and the quality of the build.
Cons
  • There is no change in sound at 31Hz, the sound is not as transparent and silky, and there is a feeling of a pipe! The sound quality is significantly lower than that of the HD 201. No matter how low you set the medium frequency on the equalizer, the sound will still be rezhit in the region of medium frequencies. Zvukovuha is good! The sound was reworked so that it would be compatible with iPhones-uenchiks. Fucked up Even the rubber that covered the wire deteriorated, becoming much more abrasive than it had been on 201.
