I gave the case 5 stars because I've bought the same case/brand before (at Revain) , so I knew what to expect and wasn't surprised by its size, durability or quality of materials. Some of the reviewers were negative about these features. I actually bought two of these bags, one black and one brown, from two different Revain retailers. Both bags arrived in good condition with no broken straps or zippers. The bags are a replacement for the one I previously bought which was a gift. The recipient used the bag constantly and exclusively for about a year and a half. The zippers and strap still worked, but the leather was peeling away from the lining it was glued to. For the price, I think that's to be expected with consistent use, which is why I didn't deduct a star, but wanted to warn other buyers. I think the bag is actually leather, but I'm no expert and it's hard to know for sure these days. However, the leather appears to be "glued", meaning that a thin layer of leather is glued or heat-sealed to another material, and that other material is part of the bag's inner lining. This may explain why leather can crack or peel over time. Again, for the price I can hope it doesn't, but I can't expect it not. The recipient wanted a small shoulder bag with credit card slots, space for keys (maybe 5-6 on a keychain), some pens and loose change, and a separate pocket long and big enough for her iPhone 6. She doesn't want to use a wallet, but the bag can fit SMALL AND THIN. The recipient wanted a bag that is longer than it is wide. The recipient isn't fussy with bags, but doesn't overload her either, so she didn't have a problem with a loose strap on the bag I originally bought her for her. I don't expect replacement pouches to work any differently. if she uses them in the same way. When I pointed out to the recipient that the leather material of the bag seemed to exude a spirit, she replied that the rest of the bag was fine and she would continue to use it until she completely denied the bag function. That was the moment I thought it was time to buy a replacement for them. I was happy to find the exact same bag still for sale. When she received them, she first checked that they had credit card slots (yes!) and that they fit her iPhone (yes! yes!). She was glad it was the same brand she had used before she died. If you live up to your expectations and don't get a lemon with a broken strap and zip, this is a reasonable bag for the price.
